Coincidentally TWO main Swiss department stores are celebrating some sort of “Chinese weeks” at the same time. During their shopping festivals Manor (”China Today”) and Globus (”Welcome Shanghai”) are offering a range of quality products that are obviously “made in China”. Needless to mention both purchasing departments did not forget the bicycle as an inevitable symbol of the Chinese lifestyle… While Manor is offering rides on bicycle taxis (driven by Chinese students), Globus is selling a Chinese bicycle of an unknown brand called “OK”. The trips on the bicycle taxis are free of charge while the “OK” bicycle costs 198 Swiss franks.
